By accessing or using apaglobal.org, the APA Global member platform, or participating in APA Global chapters, events, and programs, you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy.

Membership and accounts

  • You must provide accurate information and keep your account details up to date.
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account. Do not share your credentials.
  • APA Global may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or our Code of Conduct.

Code of Conduct

APA Global is a professional, inclusive community. Harassment, discrimination, hate speech, plagiarism, spam, and any activity that harms members or the community are prohibited. The full Code of Conduct is available in the Handbook.

Content

  • You retain ownership of content you submit (profiles, articles, comments, applications).
  • You grant APA Global a worldwide, non-exclusive license to display and distribute your content within the platform and related communications.
  • You must have rights to all content you post and must not infringe intellectual property.

Chapters, events, and volunteers

Chapter leaders, speakers, and volunteers act on behalf of APA Global only within the scope granted by their role. Local activities must comply with APA Global brand guidelines, governance standards, and applicable local laws.

Fees and benefits

Some memberships, events, and programs may include fees. Benefits (including partner discounts such as APA Member Deals) are provided as-is and may change at any time. Third party services are subject to their own terms.

Disclaimers

The platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. APA Global is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the platform or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
